In 2004 a lot of blogs became mainstream, after politicains started using them as tools for outreach. This changed the internet because now everyone could blog each other and it was a very big advancement for our internet world. The internet users use this alot and is quite fun (wwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhooooooooppppppppppppppyyyyyyyyyy). People like president bush used this to get people to like because he wanted to be liked.
in 2004 yahoo built there own search engine. where as before this they would use a search engine that was not there's. the search engine was google (which i am sure you have heard of). So this was a big advancement for Yahoo.
